Just like a BOLT out of the blue

I ; YES lil old me,  Decided to start a Online Petition, a Campaign asking for the Legalisation of Cannabis for medical use – Treatment, medicine or a cure even?

This all Came to fruition when I returned home after visiting one of my closest & one of my best friends. Her 8 year old son was being ravished with the BIG (vile) C, and after a 7 year battle ‘it’ had got the upper hand, and he was sadly deteriorating quickly.

That brave little soldier fighting untill the ultimate finish, completely in Control,

right to the end ;

just like The JEDI!

How this cruel, nasty, vile, uncompromising, disease strips any person; let alone a beautiful little BOY, IS shockingly unbelievable.

It strips them of their own body, speech, Dignity, memory & life.
How can any human body deteriorate to such a massive extent, and STILL be clinically alive?

That vile disease feeds mercilessly on you’re life force, extracting every last ounce of ‘You’ untill your body a just a empty nothing, that still manages to breath, Just – Staggeringly !

That vile disease makes your body unrecognisable to the weeks previous.
That VILE DISEASE strips you of your Dignity, Your Pride, Your Family, Your Body, Soul and Life. 

In the most CRUELEST OF WAYS POSSIBLE TO MAN!

And this is the reason why I started the #KASABIANSLAW LEGALISE THE CURE FOR CANCER Campaign.

This little boy isn’t just another kid, another statistic, this boy is
KASABIAN NEWTON-SMITH!

He is the boy that cared more about others than himself, that wished he could give another child HIS ‘Make A Wish’ gift, who had a minutes applause in the eighth minute at a Sheffield United Football Game on the day of his passing.

Who was the centre of a huge social media campaign #1lastsmile4kasabian.

Which resulted in a video message from England Captain Wayne Rooney along with the shirt he wore, which he also signed!

Kasabian made Sheffield come to a Standstill on his Life Celebration Day!

You had police road blocks in place, who also attended you’re funeral as escorts alongside the fire engine and hundreds of YELLOW motorcycles.

Then you were escorted by two Stormtroopers & Dalth Vader to the Chapel.

Where they stood at the side of you, guarding you all the way through your life service…

And then you had us all TWERKING including the Vicar!

After you’re Beautiful Service HUNDREDS & HUNDREDS of YELLOW balloons were released just for you!

Which was a phenomenonal sight to see! 

Kasabian’s life;

Even as short as it was, Did MEAN SOMETHING!

He was only here for a short time BUT he was here for a Reason !

His 8 years of life was significant and it was massively important! This heartbreaking, this devistating, life changing event SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED – NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT!

Kasabian should still be here, enjoying his life with his family and friends. It makes me so very sad.

So I made it my duty to start doing something POSITIVE, to start to tell Kas’s story, to let as many people as possible know and understand how bloody MAGNIFICENT this boy is.

… By the way, this was/is the only way I can personally get my brain to try to compute this devistation! Even now on the occasion I still have the odd emotional meltdown!

This Grief S@#t ain’t EASY!!

When I first started the #KASABIANSLAW Campaign I suspect that quite a lot of people thought that I was flogging a dead horse, barking up the wrong tree and gone completely bonkers, BUT HAHA HOW WRONG THEY WERE!

From the very beginning I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, and it wasn’t for my benefit, My ego or for spotlight on me – I was doing this for one reason only, and that reason was Kasabian! To put it quite simply, I endeavour to make Kasabian’s name, a name known globally, a name that is CHANGING OUR INTIRE WORLD FOR THE BETTER, to go down in the history books with a LAW named after this Remarkable Kid! Then everyone WILL know how Amazing Kas is ….. REVOLUTIONARY.

I knew that I could do THIS! .. But knew it wasn’t going to be EASY .. And in complete honesty in the beginning it was a hard long SLOG!

But with Kas pretty much doing all the hard work – it’s his life story after all. I’m just the PR & Front Man to the campaign, So With lots of hard work, Lots of research & Lots of Background Digging along with targeting as many different influential high profile people & organisations including one of the biggest Pharmaceutical Companies in the World – BioMartin Pharmaceuticals Inc. To which #KASABIANSLAW is directly Campaigning against! (And the only petition targeted towards BioMartin Pharmaceutical Inc on change.Org)

Gill Furniss my local MP even blocked any press relations with #KASABIANSLAW – to which I obviously I capitalised on!

ANY PUBLICITY IS GOOD PUBLICITY, RIGHT?!

Even when nothing particularly came out of this blip – IT was still getting #KASABIANSLAW heard & known! But that was the campaign strategy – ATTACK, PUBLICISE & BE RELENTLESS!

Sneaky? … Nah that’s good PR work! 😁 💋

But nether-the-less momentum was later than expected in arriving, and It seemed forever to even get close to the 1000 signature milestone, let alone exceed it. But once It did, WOW WOW WOW – You’ve heard about the snowball effect, right?!

YES! My perseverance had started to finally pay off, the countless times I had posted Updates, Emailed Local Press Organisations, Tweeted and ReTweeted, Uploaded to YouTube, Released # Green Balloons, Blagged some free #KASABIANSLAW promotional products.

I was titering on the fine line of either CRAZY GENIUS OR CRAZY HARRASING STALKER! – but luckily I’ve not been arrested yet, no received any deaths THREATS! – As Yet!…

.. And suddenly the numbers started to INCREASE,

AND INCREASE QUICKLY!

Before I knew it the campaign was hitting the 2500 signature milestone, then in the blink of a eye the total has risen to 4500 signatures. The total number of supporters for #KASABIANSLAW was now gaining mass’s of momentum! (It was obviously making up for being late!) And with just over 12 months of starting, the Campaign was exceeding 7,200 Signatures of support.

Kas was inspiring all sorts of people from all around the globe to pledge their support for #KASABIANSLAW LEGALISE THE CURE, places you wouldn’t even think of lol ..

Just in case you wondered Kasabian certainly made his presence and approval known  – NO COINCIDENCE WHATSOEVER !

Without a doubt Kas is definitely the JEDI and he’s using the force WELL!
